Is your jewelry real gold or real diamond?
Our pieces are fine-quality imitation (fashion) jewelry. Most designs are gold-plated or rhodium-plated brass set with uncut-look Kundan and Polki stones, American Diamond (cubic zirconia), crystals, beads and pearls. You get the look of heirloom bridal jewelry at an accessible price.
What is Polki jewelry?
Polki is a traditional Indian style that uses uncut, natural-looking stones with a soft, vintage sparkle. Our Polki designs recreate that look with uncut-look stones in antique gold-tone settings, perfect for weddings and festive occasions.
What is the difference between Kundan and Polki?
Both are classic Indian bridal styles. Kundan uses polished, glass-like stones set in gold foil, while Polki has an uncut, raw-diamond look. Kundan feels bright and regal; Polki feels softer and more heirloom.
What is American Diamond jewelry?
American Diamond (AD) is the Indian name for cubic zirconia: a lab-made stone cut to sparkle like a diamond. Our AD necklace sets, kadas and bracelets are ideal for receptions, parties and evening wear.
Who designs your jewelry?
Every Sparkling Trendz piece is designed by Masu and crafted by artisans in Gujarat, India, then quality-checked and shipped from our studio in New York.
How do I wear a maang tikka or passa?
A maang tikka sits on the center parting of your hair and is secured with a small hook or pin at the back. A passa (jhoomar) is worn on one side of the head. Both are adjustable and pair beautifully with a necklace set for a complete bridal look.
Are the necklaces adjustable?
Most of our traditional necklace sets close with an adjustable dori (cord), so you can wear them high like a choker or lower on the collarbone. Product descriptions list approximate measurements for each piece.
Shipping & delivery
How fast do you ship?
In-stock orders ship from New York within 1–2 business days, with tracking. During large sales and festive promotions, processing can take up to 3–5 business days.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, US orders of $35 or more ship free. Orders under $35 ship for a flat $5.99.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the UAE, India and many other countries with tracking. International rates start at $19.99 to Canada and $26.99 elsewhere. Import duties and taxes are not included and are paid by the customer on delivery. All international orders are final sale.
Returns & care
What is your return policy?
US orders can be returned within 7 days of delivery if the item is unworn, in its original packaging and the security tag is intact. Earrings, nose pins, bangles and kadas are final sale for hygiene and fit reasons. International orders are final sale. See our refund policy for full details.
Why does my jewelry have a security tag?
Every piece ships with a tamper-evident security tag so you know it is new and has never been worn. Please keep the tag on until you are sure you are keeping the item; returns cannot be accepted if the tag is removed or tampered with.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email info@sparklingtrendz.com within 48 hours of delivery with your unboxing video and photos of the damage, and we will make it right.
How do I care for my Kundan, Polki and AD jewelry?
Keep pieces away from water, perfume, lotion and hairspray. Put your jewelry on last and take it off first. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after wearing and store each piece separately in its box or pouch to protect the plating and stones.
